The HI-PE is a high performance walk-through Multi-Zone Metal Detector which meets all International Security Standards. A “height on person” display actually indicates, by means of illuminated LED’s, the position of the weapon on the person. Thanks to the technique used a large amount of metal objects for normal use on inspected individuals can be distinguished, with a minimum of false alarms.

The CEIA SMD600 is a Walk-Through Multi-Zone Metal Detector with very high sensitivity designed to satisfy the strictest security requirements.

The SMD600 Multi-Zone is characterized by a very high immunity to electrical interferences in the surrounding environment. As a result, it can be installed in those environments where the standard metal detectors could not perform.

A full-height light bar displays the vertical location of the detected metal masses in transit. This results in rapid identification of threats and a reduction or elimination of manual searches.

The most recent standards relating to walk-through Metal Detectors for correctional facilities security, such as the NIJ0601.02 issued by the U. S. Department of Justice, require the detection of metal threats, even those of minimum dimensions, made of magnetic and non-magnetic metals.

The above-mentioned regulation requires these Metal Detectors to offer characteristics of high detection uniformity, performance independent of the transit speed and extremely high immunity to electrical and mechanical interference.

The SMD601 Metal Detector conforms completely to the requirements of the NIJ0601.02 Standard for all foreseen security levels, and can therefore be applied in situations from the inspection of visitors to that of detainees in top-security areas, even in areas which are the most complex from the electrical and mechanical point of view.

The bidirectional detection head allows detection of metal on both sides, upper and lower.

The exclusive ergonomic shape ensures a secure grip, allowing rapid, thorough inspection operations with minimum discomfort for the persons being checked.

The device is supplied with a standard sample for checking calibration. Specific test samples can be supplied in line with the Security Regulations in force.
